Why do men die younger than women? We don't die faster, it takes about the same time to die. Women are helped out by estrogen until the age of 45 because it's necessary for women to stay alive and healthy to have children. After that women's bodies decline the same as men but since they had that extra healthy time they usually live on average longer. Other factors include men (single men especially) are more likely to engage in destructive behavior.
