i did one of these for Steven A. Smith (who i despise) and it was really good because i saw how much my opinion was shared

next on my head-hunting list is Sean Salisbury
his claim to fame is 3rd string NFL QB
he seems like he knows everything about sports, and craps on the Giants, Eagles, and Jets

in 2004 when the Eagles made it through the playoffs after finishing the regular season 12-4, Salisbury had predicted that team would win 4 games the whole year because they had no "team players"

this past year he said the Carolina Panthers (aka his superbowl pick every single year) would win the Super Bowl, and that the NFC South would be the best division in football, and that the NFC East would be the worst in the NFC

well sean, giants, cowboys, and eagles all made the playoffs. panthers didnt

wut im sayin is WHO ELSE HATES SEAN SALISBURY!!!!!!

yess someone mentioned the other analyst with his head in the clouds: Mel Kiper Jr. him and salisbury are a tag-team of misinformation. not to mention both hate the NY and Phily teams

to the people defending him. one, the last time an NFC south team was i nthe super bowl was 2004 (carolina-lost) and before that was 1999 (atlanta-lost). im not discrediting the NFC South. im saying he predicts the panthers to win it every year because he PLAYED with them breifly. how did you not make that connection?!? and to the other d-bag i htink hes a good sports writer but not a good analyst. ive never seen someone make so many bad picks and assumptions as salisbury has done

The NFC East was the strongest NFC division with a 34-30 record and the NFC South was the absolute worst division in the league at 29-35 despite playing the pitiful 30-34 AFC North! By the way, the NFC South went 6-10 vs the NFC East!

He occasionally calls the AFC South the weakest when it was the strongest in the league last year at 34-30 with the most wins against the divisions with the most wins in each conference 34-30 NFC East & 35-29 AFC East (they got fat off the weak NFC North).

Oh, and the AFC South contained 3 teams which beat the Super Bowl champion Colts, something that only 1 out of 17 other teams on the league's 5th toughest schedule was able to do. And guess which division that team was from? NFC East!

He obviously is just a pre-programmed puppet spouting the same nonsense repeatedly (after all, a broken clock is right twice a day!).

I like Sean! He tells it like it is! Now I have a question 4 you! Explain this,Mr. I love the NFC East!, Why is it almost every year, a team from the NFC South represents The NFC in the Super Bowl? Or heres another question 4 ya! Why do the Eagles every year get sent home packing by a team from the NFC South division? Ask these Questions and see what kind of answers you get!

By the way~ The Saints were 4-1 against the NFC East!
Saints 27 Eagles 24
Saints 42 Cowboys 17
Saints 30 Giants 7
Redskins 16 Saints 10 ( Even the sun shines on a dogs A#%! some days)
Saints 27 Eagles 24 in the playoffs!

I do! I do! The guy drives me nuts. He warmed the bench during his whole career...what was it like 3 years long?? He claims to be an expert?? I'd also like to hate on Mel Kiper. What makes this guy a draft expert? I don't understand it. I or anyone else could scout college players for 8 months and make predictions about where they may or may not play in the NFL. He gives tough draft grades. This past draft I thought there were a few teams that could have got "A's", but no, he has to like every single player drafted by the team in order for them to get an "A".

And then there is Stuart Scott. Somebody please get this guy off the air. "Hater in the house", "come on dog", "cooler than the other side of the pillow"...is this the whitest black guy ever. He talks like a "homie" but is a nerdy guy with glasses in a suit. And don't tell me he doesn't hunt birds and squirrels at the same time with those eyes!

The eagles, cowboys and giants made the playoffs through "default". SOMEONE had to go right? Judging strickly by their records, the panthers wern't far off!! Salisbury does football for a LIVING....you live for football. He gets paid to research, you don't. The NFL, especially the NFC was a crapshoot. Who really thought the Saints would tear it up this year? Or seatle would have a tough time in their division, or the Bears would smoke everyone with THAT quarterback and a defense so banged up they could have been a MASH unit...(army talk)...? He is paid to be critical of pro teams, he is paid to make assumptions on camera, he's paid to talk sports with other commentators...he's paid well, and could probably purchase YOU. If he sat next to you on a bus and started a friendly football conversation you'd be singing a different tune. He played succesfully in college, and played ever so briefly in the NFL..... what have YOU done? "would you like to super-size that sir?" "fries are up!". Relax dude, he works for ESPN...you?...well... he's not gunna come to YOUR work and throw ketchup packets at you when YOU mess up an order is he? or should he?

Sean Salisbury is a lame no talent with a big mouth. He was lame at USC, Lame in the L.A./San Diego Radio market, and he thinks he's the only one to ever play in tough games. Salisbury at QB made guys like Jim Everett look like a world beater. I remember Salisbury giving commetary on being in the Superbowl, he was freakin talking like he actually put down the clipboard. All the callers on the radio that day, called his a** out on that. Only time he was on the field was warm ups and after the final gun.

Sean Salisbury is a tame puppy compared to the idiot that is Joe Theismann...that guy had no right doing what he did as a career. Probably the worst announcer/analyst I've been witness to.

I completely agree. The only reason this guy is even on the air is because hes an ex (average) NFL player who probably had some schooling in communications. I like Steven A sometimes, but when he brings "race" into his topics it saddens me. Chris Berman is a personal favorite, along with Stuart Scott.

You wanted to know who else hates Salisbury. John Clayton. He has to put up with him every week. Salisbury has a big ego and tries to impress people because he played football. Clayton is a little geek but knows more about footbal and that makes him mad.

I'd rather have a root canal than have to listen to Salisbury. Sean is as good at his present job as he was at playing QB. We know what a worthless turd he was as a QB. I think he should sentenced to an eternity of arguing with Thiesman, that would have to be worse than death.
