I went to school with a Mike Hunt and a Stu B oner. The funniest was when the secretary in the main office called on the loud speaker, "Mike Hunt" to the main office, MIke Hunt to the main office"

How were you able to keep it together and not crack up when you had to talk with them ?
I find it hard not to laugh when I hear men with "girl type" type of names...like kim or jamie, etc
I had a supervisor named Jamie for many years. At my job we are all encouraged to use first names with each other even if someone is higher up than you are. As you could imagine, I only would talk to him if he came to me first and struck up conversation. I knew to try and avoid going to him for anything since I was afraid I might start to giggle if I had to say his name.

This is not made up. When I was a caseworker (for Food Stamps) in another state, I interviewed a lady who's youngest child was named "Insatiable". I thought maybe in had one of those weird pronunciations, but when I asked her she said insatiable (just like in a risque novel), and all I could think is this child will kill you when she grows up.
