im tired about hearing how good the patriots will be. Anyone else remember last year before the season began people were picking the panthers as perrenial superbowl favorites and then they didnt make the playoffs dont count your wins before you get them

oh and sure they have 3 rings and have been a contender every year. but look at the colts. 2 years ago they had peyton manning, edgerrin james, harrison, stokley, wayne and so many other stars and even went 13-0 to start the season, but they lost in the playoffs that year. Im a colts fan but im not convinced that they are gonna repeat. The chargers are the team to beat and MOSS IS WASHED UP!!!!

You may be right, but the Pats have 3 Superbowl wins under their belts unlike the Panthers. So, I think there's a little more credibility in saying that they will be as good or better next season.

Ya, that is cuz the NFC is a little on the weak side

There was not much to choose from

---

Carolina is a solid team, but they weren't Superbowl material last year...

This year they should be better but they sort of hit a plateau and need one of their younger guys to emerge as a big playmaker

---

But back to the Patriots...

They have the best coach in the NFL in Bill Belichick

They have one of the top QBs in Tom Brady

All star receiving cast in Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth and the other 3 guys who are good slot options

Ben Watson is one of the better TEs

Laurence Maroney is a home run threat at RB

and the defense? They are always good and just added Adalius Thomas...

This team should have made the Superbowl last year if not for a blown 2nd half...

What do you think they are gonna do this year?

---

I'm not a Patriots fan... But I'm a huge Randy Moss fan and I know that he is absolutely gonna tear it up

New England will be 13-3 at the WORST and will defintely be facing either Indy or San Diego in the AFC championship

I agree, I don't like preseason picks, preseason BSC ranking. There's a reason they play the games, because honestly the worst team could beat the very best team on any given Sunday (Monday or Thursday.... oh or Saturday) A major injury here or there can change a teams destiny. Do you think the Colts would have won a Superbowl last year without Manning? Sorgi that poor guy never gets to play, you tell me he could have stepped in a won a playoff game against New England? (no way)

The Pats do look better on paper, that doesn't mean I like them (Steelers Fan till death do us part).

I am the variety of character who can conform to disagree. My most sensible favourite groups, the Steelers and Green Bay did not get to the enormous sport this yr. I additionally desired to peer the JAGS move, and they did not make it, both. I did megastar you, even though, once more, I stated I can conform to disagree with humans and be civil. I got here from a small college without a 50 pt. rule. We as soon as misplaced a sport, seventy six-zero! YEAH, that SUCKED! A Player give up- IN THE MIDDLE of the sport-lol! I used to be a Cheerleader on the time. (RAH RAH)- What do you assert whilst your group is thus far in the back of? "We have PRIDE, (CLAP-CLAP) on our SIDE! (CLAP-CLAP) LOL! SO, being from a Small Town, and constantly being the underdog, I opt for the Underdog. THEREFORE, I am going to be rooting for the NYG! I detect the PATS have an undefeated season, BUT, humans must do not forget that the NYG virtually took that profitable streak from them, with a Final Score of 38-35. If ANYBODY can deliver them a run for his or her cash, it is going to be the NYG. You ask in the event that they cheat. People say they've. I do not know- I wasn't there. It might be the click pronouncing this to make a tale. You know the way the Media loves a rumor and move jogging with it. Allegations got here to floor once more the day prior to this. I wish you benefit from the sport, and the ADS in among. Some humans watch the sport simply for the advertisements. You have a GREAT DAY and ENJOY THE GAME! Whatever the results, I wish all is going good, and Pray no person will get injured significantly throughout this SUPERBOWL! I'm certain TOM PETTY will furnish us with high-quality part-time enjoyment. Take care, and well good fortune!

" the patriots should have won the superbowl last year, if reche caldwell could catch a football" -jim
-first of all, there's no such thing as "should have" in football. it's either did or didn't.
-second, if there ever was "should have", the pats "should have" lost to the chargers in the divisional round. (ex. the chargers "should have" downed the ball after the interception, etc.)
-finally, if reche "did" catch the ball and move on to win the game , they still had to win one more game to actully win the superbowl.

as for your question with the patriots and all the hype, i'm sure everybody (besides patriot fans) are sick of hearing about it. we'll just have to wait and see what all the hype is about when the season starts. me personally, i'm waiting for week 2. that's when the "should have" patriots play the chargers. GO BOLTS!!!!

"By the way Jerbson, the Colts have the best record over the past 6 seasons. Not the Pats. "

Is that some kind of redneck math?

Patriots 70-26 Regular Season past 6 years
Dolts 66-30 Regular Season

Post season?

Pats 12-2
Dolts 7-4

Any questions? Or are you talking about pre-season?

Since after the second ring the Pats won, so called "NFL experts" have been choosing them to repeat. The fact of the matter is, other teams are just much better and they lost Charlie to Notre Dame. Even with Randy Moss, the Pats wont win a ring this year. These also "NFL experts" said Peyton would never do it. Guess again, and watch for another ring for 18 in the next 5 years.

No one's saying the Pat are a shoe in but they have been the most consistent team over the past 6 years so their not a bad bet. Answer this one. How come everybody outside of New England hates the Pats? I grew up with the Pats being the worst team in the league for a while and I glad to see that franchise can make this kind of a turnaround.

Is that a question or a statement? Trust me Patriot fans are weird out by this. It is nice theses guys are picking the Patriots for a change, but these are the same guys that picked the Colts in 2002,2003,2004, and 2005 the gave up on them last year.

How many times has the preseason favorites won the Superbowl? That's all I gotta say. By the way Jerbson, the Colts have the best record over the past 6 seasons. Not the Pats.
