I use the entire line of Urban Decay shadows in my kit and I can tell you by holding them up to the computer screen that the Sephora colors aren't even close. They show the midnight cowboy as being a beigy color when it's a very decided pale mauvey-champagne with glitter as shown on the Urban Decay site. The same goes for many of the other color representations on Sephoras site. They've washed out and muted all the colors.
They show half baked as a very orangey peach when in actuality it's more of the bronzed brown sugar shade shown on the UD site. Don't trust the sephora colors. Their descriptions aren't even correct.

I just recently went into Sephora a few weeks ago and I was looking at the Urban Decay products, They aren't really different from what you see on the computer screen. If you haven't gotten any make up from there, I definantly think you should!!!! If you're interrested in the whole high pigmented eyeshadow, I also would recommend Urban Decays Primer Potion. It makes your eyeshadow last longer with no creasing. It works great! All of their colors are really pretty and worth the money!

I love Sephora, and Urban Decay is what i use for eye Shadow, the only way you can really tell is go into the store and test them out..which is fun and u know what your getting...if you dont have a sephora near you, you will just have to buy it and find out the hard way unfortunately

The only best bet is to go to Sephora & look at the colors yourself. That way you ensure what you are getting.
