I am a keen astronomer, and get sent a lot of images from NASA, ESA, JPL and other kind folk. Some of these images are of such uncompromising awe that I forget all the maths and astrophysics, and just loose myself in the sheer beauty of the cosmos, and the amazing thought that we, a bunch of naked apes, have set ourselves no less a quest than to understand the universe!
One night, for instance, I was looking at sunset on Mars, via the Spirit rover. There was a lovely blue evening evening star. it was the Earth. Us, all of us, twinkling in the pale Martian dusk. Things like that put everything in perspective.

I go to the beach and then just to be there give me peace i forgat my problems and i get to have some tranquility too.

While on the lawnmower. The sound drowns out everything else and the job is so mundane that my mind is left to wander aimlessly. The smell of the fresh cut grass is also a favorite of mine so it helps me to relax.

In my rear garden, lounging on the sun lounger, gazing out to sea. Oh and with a glass of ice cold sangria at the ready.

Lost in a real good manuscript, singing hosannas that I don't have to edit a thing, and dreaming of how this will do on the market.

You'll think it's funny but,..the bathroom..that's the ONLY place I can get away from kids besides work...Unless, I go to the grocery store with out the kids...

In my husbands arms. Really i know it sounds corny but really i feel so safe. the world can't touch me when he holds me and i smell him, omg i need to quit i'm gettin all worked up at the thought lol
But it's true!
I feel so at peace and so relaxed just from him holding me!
