I like the traditional wedding, wearing the white dress and everything else, but then again its your wedding. the people invited are your friends and once word gets around that it is going to be a black wedding... then its all good. Change is good and the weddin would be remembered. So yes

Why not, Candy? Your "weddin" should be a reflection of who you and your groom are. It sounds like you're not especially a traditionalist, so why not? It might off-put your guests a bit, but you surely understand that.
Ultimately, the decision about your wedding attire comes down to who's paying for it!
Rave on - even though I don't quite know what that means. :)
Enjoy life.

i admire the classic wedding ceremony ceremony, wearing the white gown and each and each element else, yet having pronounced that its your wedding ceremony ceremony. the human beings invited are your human beings and as right away as be wakeful gets around that it is going to be a black wedding ceremony ceremony... then its all good. replace is intense high quality and the weddin could desire to be remembered. So confident

You can wear anything that you want for your wedding and some people choose other colors besides white. Afterall, it is whatever the couple decides on. I have been married two times and the second time I wore tan slacks outfit.

Yes you can wear a black wedding dress if you want. I would recommend going to evening gown stores & searching for your dress. Vs going to a bridal shop where you will find nothing but white. Also you can look at black bridesmaid dress for your gown. I had a friend who wore a red bridesmaid dress (from David's Bridal) for her wedding gown. It looked awesome & unique!

Of course, not all weddings conform to the typical churchy affair with a 'virgin' bride in white and the like.
