I agree. The idea of democracy is great. It is challenging to put it into action though. It is a process and it is obvious from our records that it is a work in progress. That's it though, at least we have the ability to TRY to change things. Other people don't even get that opportunity. I can also legally let someone know I think they are doing a poor job. Again some people do not have that option.
In regards the Pres Bush being elected....I WAS CHEATED AND AL GORE ROBBED.

First off,the people of the U.S. and Britain make their own choices and second the countries that they wish to help are in way worse conditions than their own countries. Why be under a dictator and have no power to chose who runs your government? That is just insane. All people should be free, that's what they want to do. Though I am not saying that it will happen. And about the Bush thing.....he got elected because the people wanted him to be. He got blamed for a bunch of things that he didn't do and besides no matter who got elected they would have taken the same reputation as Bush currently has. And I would rather have Bush as president than some psycho like Pres. Chavez of Venezuela. I am more upset with Congress right now then I am with President Bush

The answer is self evident, if you are running something (country) and it ends up in a dire, deteriorating state you are incompetent.Full stop.
If after accepting this as fact others still give you credibility, and listen to your point of view or take your advice then that is a indicment of of the recipient. Its called guilt by association.
The fact is Blair & Bush have no mandate to dictate to any country for the reasons you give, and examples of their intervention are absolute proof of their ability to consistently fail.
Sadly the international community has done little to limit the damage they have rent upon innocent people, and the death, destruction and terror they have orchestrated.

How is divorce a problem, isn't it a good thing that if two people can't get on they can terminate their marriage, or would you prefer stoning the Mrs like some non-democratic states I could name but wont?

Democracy is not perfect (though Bush's chickens are coming home to roost -who controls Congress/Senate??) but it is fair that the people of a country decide how that country is run and by whom. It is afterall their country.

Its called throwing stones when you live in a glasshouse. As for Bush he had a lot of secret society help (skull and bones) etc who would see he rigged his vote efficiently for their own vested interests!
