Alright, so on election day the news networks assign each political party a color, and color the states in according to the party that has won that state. Currently the Republicans are red, the Democrats are blue (I know, it should be opposite, seeing as socialists the world over use red, and conservatives the world over use blue... but that's what the news networks went with), the Green party is, big suprise, green, independants are generally grey/white. I know the Libertarians almost never win anything on a national scale, but if they were to win something... what color would their states be? If there isn't any real answer, what color would you choose?

Gold/Yellow, according to their website.

Purple would be best in my opinion. Libertarians are a mix of Republican and Democratic ideals - fiscally conservative and socially liberal - so it would be appropriate to use a mix of colors to represent them. Alternatively, I could see using yellow or orange, just to be different.

That'd be up to the news media. If they followed the logic of the red/blue scheme, then Libertarians would be green, and Greens would be black.

Hmmm, being that libertarians are all for freedom, both personal and business, this would tend to say they for all for letting the market decide the outcome.

As such - gold - would be the only logical choice.

Yellow comes to mind. I mean if you are too scared to pick a legitimate party then by all means give them yellow.
