Now if you had other choices, certainly midweek (T or W) would be best, but the answer to your question is Saturday, by far.

I love Dorney and I've never been to Six Flags but I would expect them to be more crowded on the weekends because thats when people dont have school and work and can go. I went to Dorney on Sunday and the lines werent bad but I'm guessing it was because everyone was at the shore for Memorial Day.

right now dorney is only open on weekends, so yea it is very crowded. i don't know about six flags.

i would say that both days are extremely busy especially now that schools are starting to let out, people plan long weekends so actually both days are pretty busy. i have found that going in the middle of the week is actually the best time to go.
