download the font to your desktop (or a temporary directory if it is a ZIP file).

Right click on Start, then choose "Explore"... browse to the Windows directory and then expand it (by clicking the + next to it) and scroll down to the Fonts directory. Click it and then click on File and then Install New Font.

Browse to where you have the TTF file, select the font and then click OK.

The font is now properly installed on the system.

Go back and download the font all over again with the other one you've all ready downloaded deleted. This time save the downloaded folder somewhere safe, like the desktop. Have a new empty folder on the desktop; extract the download contents into that, the font file that are in there (Should be TT, of ATF, blue and red icons); copy thoughs, forget the readme for a second. Go to Control Panel and Fonts; If you can't find it, then switch to classic view and you'll see it. Open that folder up and paste the font into there. Close all windows dealing with this. Open a Word Doc or a Wordpad and see if the font it there under it's name, if it is then it worked.

You should be able to copy the "ttf" file and simply paste it into your "Font" folder. My Computer/"C"/Windows/Fonts
