I've been to the Hall of Fame a couple of times and they have some pretty big busts of running backs but I haven't seen any of the guys on your list there! ;)

I agree with you, just in different order. I have Ki Jana Carter first because he didn't have a reputation coming out of college, players like Phillips and Clarett were gambles just because they had been in trouble before. I would also add an honorary mention for Ricky Williams. He made Ditka look like a fool. LOL
1. Ki-Jana Carter
2. Demitrius Summers
3. Marcus Dupree
4. Lawrence Phillips
5. Maurice Clarett
Honorary Mention- Ricky Williams
7 weeks til Training Camp...Yeah

Top RB Busts List:
1. Ki-Jana Carter (I hate putting him up their because he was injured but he is still considered a bust.)
2. Ricky Bell
3. Rashaan Salaam
4. Lawrence Phillips
5. John Avery (He had a good rookie season but his career went downhill from their)
William Green is the biggest running back bust, even so more than Ki-Jana Carter.
***I don't consider Ron Dayne a bust because he can be a 1,000+ yard rusher but its the lack of playing time and being forced as a last resort back which limits his rushing yards.

2. Tony Mandarich
3. Lawrence Phillips
4. Ki-Jana Carter
5. Rashaun Salaam
K, I had to change cause yeah i forgot about 2 of the bigger flops in first round pics, good call on Salaam. And yeah Williams is my No.1 for wasting an ENTIRE draft to get him. Sorry guy, but thats a bust.
Mandarich goes before Barry Sanders at no2 in the draft and does..nothing

I think you've got a pretty darn good list there.
However, I'm not sure Clarett belongs up there because shouldn't a team have to 'give up something' (first round pick, big bucks) to truly be 'busted'?
Denver wasted an extra 4th round pick and zero guaranteed dollars to give Clarett a chance to make the team.
Don't forget Curtis Enis
