no i don't think so really. kimi is just having his usual bad luck, but I'm sure that will change and Massa is doing a really good job. Schumi still has an influence in the team and Ross could be back next year.

Well, first off, neither Schumacher nor Brawn were "let go." Ferrari wanted to, and tried to retain both of them. There may have been some other factors, but considering what both of them have meant to the team, and their performance levels at the end of last season, either would have been welcomed back with open arms if they wanted to stay.
As for what the Ferrari bosses are thinking? Well, let's look at where Ferrari was a year ago with Schumacher and Brawn: The number one driver had 31 points, and the second driver had 15 points; their number one driver trailed the championship lead by 13 points, and the team trailed in the championship by 16 points!
Now, let's look at this year: Their number one driver has 33 points (2 more than Schumacher had last year, and a mere 5 back of the lead), and their number two driver has 23 points (8 more over last year); the team has scored 56 points (a solid 10 more over last year)! The only thing worse is that they trail by 4 points more than last year.
In every measure for how they are performing as a team, they are doing better than they did last year with Schumacher and Brawn. While Schumacher and Brawn are two of the all times greats in the sport and things have not been as good as hoped (or even expected), it would be somewhat silly to think that the current results are causing panic or a harbinger of major changes.
Given that the main problem is that Mclaren has doen so well, the bosses are most likely regretting that they didn't manage to discover Hamilton before Ron Dennis! That's REALLY the big regret of this year.

It was well documented that Schumacher was getting bored rigid of the life and Ross Brawn wants a well deserved rest. I'm pretty sure both of them would be welcomed back in a heartbeat as either of them could make a Spyker win a race without breaking a sweat.

No and yes. I don't think that they regret Schumacher retiring from driving as he is still around and can still contribute to the team, possibly more so in the long run. But they are probably sad that Ross Brawn had to go and concentrate on tending to the pork farm that he has on his face.

They haven't 'let Schumacher go', he retired from driving, but is still a member of the F1 team, as you'd have seen if you'd watched the Monaco Grand Prix last weekend, he was in the pit box, wearing the full red gear, and constantly talking with mechanics and engineers.
F1 driving is physically very demanding, it's not like doing it on your playstation at home. Drivers often sweat so much that they can lose up to three kilos of body weight in one race. This takes young and fit men, and a time comes when they must retire. He's probably the best F1 driver the world's ever seen, though we might not say that had Ayrton Senna survived his crash in Monza, but that's another story.

I think it was time for schuey to go while he was still on a high and although ferrari are having some teething problems at the moment i have no doubt they will soon be back on track ( no pun intended!!!) i have absolute faith in kimi and as soon as his run of usual bad luck finishes and he gets to grips ( no pun intended again!!!) with those bridgestones i think he will be back up there!

I'm sure they are suffering but it was time to move on. You never know, Ross may be back. Do you really think Kimi will be around that long with the time he's having?

I think so. Letting a tank driver fill in for a 7x WDC is the gravest mistake. The tank driver is supposedly making Schumacher type money, but I think he is putting up Ralf Schumacher-type results.
I still feel that Schu was forced out to make way for their new resident car breaking driver.

I think they should just bring in Schumi to replace old toad Todt!
