Can people not see the similarities between Pat Robertson and the collectivist goons on the far right and Al Gore and the collectivist goons on the far left?
If you oppose the FBI getting data on who stayed in what hotel room and when, why don't you oppose a new agency getting data on who saw what doctor and when?
The fight for Liberty has two fronts, people.
In the fight that is represented in the media as between the Cheney side and the Hillary side, they'll both win and the individual will lose.
Vote Libertarian!

Bush, it's real simple - we don't think you have the right to double the cost of our commutes and triple our electric bills based on baseless assertions, just like the gays don't think that politicians have the right to dictate their sex lives based on baseless assertions.
It's the exact same argument. The government has no more business with my commute than it has with your sex life.
You can't have it both ways.
To argue that it has the right to involve itself in the one but not the other reveals only one thing - that you're a hypocrite.

Fun they don't use the name of God, they say Mother Earth - same difference.
If arguing that a fetus has rights is an end-around personal privavy rights, then arguing that a tree has rights is just an end around personal property rights.

Bush, yes, it is. The government WILL control and monitor the provision of healthcare AND it will "reduce the costs" for some only by making others foot the bill.
That's WRONG. You DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE PAY YOUR BILLS.

I agree that extremeism on either side is bad for the country. I also agree that partisan politics is bad for the country. If more people would think for themselves and independently decide what is best for the country and not just what is best for their own little special interest, we do a lot better as a whole. We would care more for each other and approach issues less selfishly. As for voting libertarian, they have many ideas that are commendable and others that are just as radical as the major parties. What we have to decide is who most closely resembles what we think is right and cast our ballots accordingly. Then we need to determine whether our candidate has even a ghost of a chance of winning. Otherwise, like one of your respondents pointed out, a vote away from one major candidate is a vote in favor of the other major candidate. That is why I usually vote Republican, because even though I may agree with much of what the Libertarian candidate says, I don't want to lose my vote to a person that doesn't have a chance of winning, thus increasing the odds in favor of the Democrat. The Republican is more closely aligned with what I think is right so I vote Republican to keep the Democrat out of office.

Vote Constitution Party if you don't want the other parties and do not support abortion. Voting Libertarian gives you pro-abortion along with all the conservative views.
Ya'll need to look into the John Birch Society and delve a bit into the actual Constitution, and maybe you might wake up and learn you have the power to change things.

First of all... there have ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS been environmental activists. ALWAYS. Why global warming is the right wing's latest object of demonization is completely beyond my comprehension. And just FYI, not everyone on the left is a huge proponent of the movement.
Secondly, the universal healthcare thing is not a proposition to allow the government to monitor and report about your health care. It allows a program to be put into place to allow ALL Americans to have insurance - which, by the way, would keep health insurance costs and medical expenses LOWER, on average.
And "libertarians" make me laugh. You're liberals who don't want to admit that you're liberals because the right wing extremists have turned "liberal" into a dirty word.

Uh, well, ok, BUT the "Left" doesnt use the name of God as a weapon like the "Right does".
How the hell is Al Gore anything like Pat Robertson? Robertson called for the Asassination of Venezulean Predident Hugo Chavez on national television.
All Al Gore said is our pollution is catching up with us.

I doubt Pat Robertson believes this. I know he hasn't said it, so your quotes are fraudulent.
Go ahead and vote Libertarian. It is the guaranteed best way to get Hillary elected.
