fred thompson will end up having the same issues that giuliani has - that being multiple marriages.
the insane republican base, especially in south carolina simply won't go for it.
that aside, i'm only left to wonder if fred thompson is the best the cons can do.
if so, they are basically surrendering the election to the dems...

I'm asking purely out of curiosity. I don't see anything one way or the other about him. He's an actor. He's a former senator. He's a former senate staffer. He's affable.
