If I understand the question right, the most likely to get base hits would be the ones with the highest batting average. This year so far: Jorge Posada at .360, with several others close behind.
Team: Tigers (highest batting average - .283)
Batting average is hits per at bat, of course, but you could also look at hits per plate appearance, or just total hits, etc.

Ummm, what?
Statistically, those would be the guys who consistently hit for good average. You can see the active leaders in average in my link.
A 200 hit season is also a lot of hits. Last year only 8 guys did it. Only one of them batted below .300 (Juan Pierre). Some of them have done that more than once too. These guys are good bets to get hits.
I'm not really sure exactly what you are asking though. Ichiro Suzuki is probably the best answer. He's had 200 hits in each of his first 6 seasons (including breaking the record in 2004 with 262 hits), and has the highest career average among active players at .331
***UPDATE***
I see you added details as I was typing.
As someone stated, the Tigers have the highest team batting average, so they get more hits per at bat than any other team. Mathematically a team could have more hits, but since their average is lower than the Tigers, they'd do it in more at bats, so statistically the Tigers are still more likely to get base hits.
Now, "good hits", as you phrased it? Depends on what you mean by a "good hit." Personally, I think the best hit is one that scores a run, so it would be the team/player with the most RBIs. After that, a hit with runners in scoring position, so I'd take the team/player with the best average with runners in scoring position. I'm too lazy to do that kind of digging to provide you with those numbers though.

Derek Jeter is most likely to get a hit. He has hits in like 85 of his last 87 games or something ridiculous like that. The man is a machine.

Kevin Youkilis is on fire right now and I would put him in for a sure hit right now...
Also, the Red Sox as a team are still pretty hot, so again, I would pick them..
