(Along with flying to Ontario to see Tool in June) I'm also flying out to Marysville, CA to see Placebo in concert on July 7th. But Placebo hardly ever plays in the U.S. On the other hand, I fly out of the country two or three times a month to a concert. Does anyone else do this?

If I had tons of money, I'd do that as a full time thing, just travel around the world attending concerts. It would be great!!

Once, a friend of mine, travelled from Arizona, to Toronto (in the Winter yet!!) to attend a The Guess Who concert, and she didn't even have a ticket before hand.
Now THAT'S dedication!!

If Billy Klippert doesn't return to Toronto soon, I might just have to take a trip to Calgary to see him in concert.
If you ever get a chance to see Billy, either alone or with his brother Benny's band, Kovered In Lies, DO NOT MISS IT!!
What rockers they are. Awesome......just awesome!

Whoever you travel to see, have a great time!!
I'm so envious!!

Nah, not if you really like them... But if I was half way across the country, I'd probably go on a vacation there a few days before the concert so I could get even more out of the trip.

Nope! You're not nuts. I've flown half way around the planet!
Philadelphia to Sydney, Australia. and other times to London, England and Auckland, New Zealand. Discovered 3 trips to the southern hemisphere equals one free with frequent flier miles. :)

Go for it, if you can afford to, before now I've seen Motorhead one night in Manchester, then went to see them again the following night in Liverpool.

I travelled down to Milton Keynes last year to see Alice Cooper ~ it was well worth the money *g*

Party on Dude!

I've done it several times. I live in the UK, and I've seen Pearl Jam in Seattle, New York and Barcelona. People think I'm mad, but you get a short holiday and you get to see a band too!

I would if I could afford it and had the time. So, if that's what you like to do, it's not too much.
