I think since if we add any water to water its gets mixed thourughly water is not water proof.

Try mixing two diffrent coloured waters. They mix without u mixing them and therefore i believ water is not waterproof

no water is not water proof as it does not prevent water from passing through it. Ice is water proof though.

Something that is "water-proof" would be technically hydrophobic, like oil or grease. Water, however, is inherently hydrophilic, meaning it is "attracted" to other water molecules. So, no, water is not "water-proof".

well ... its a diff question to ans but i guess ... yes... water is waterproof...

just like ... fire cannot harm fire ... ie to say fire is fire proof ... on similar lines i think water is water proof ;)
