Is it me or is Elizabeth (The View) getting more and more annoying?

I was watching today and they were talking about married couples getting a separate checking accounts and then a main one to pay for their bills together, and Elizabeth was just out ragged about that. It seems that she is more old fashion and not wanting to change her view of this millennium. It worries me to see someone who is so strong to go against so many thing that women have worked hard for, and not let people finish what they are about to say.
So yes, she is even after Rosie left.

Elizabeth is somewhat of a chatter-box, but she is not as nearly as annoying as Rosie O'Donnelll is. Rosie seems so miserable and negative about everything. I think that her being around Elizabeth makes her uncomfortable and pricks her conscience, because she knows that the life-style she 's living is not right. I believe that somebody out there is probably praying for Rosie, and, as long as she's living the lifestyle that she's living, she will be miserable for the rest of her life.
There will always be an Elizabeth around to prick her conscience until she changes, and goes the right way.

I am not a fan of Rosie's either, but often she made some good points and was funny. I don't really know why Barbara put Elisabeth on...she tries really hard, but she is vacant. Lisa Ling was so smart and she was young, we need someone on like Lisa who is smart and speaks up for herself and does interesting interviews. Why can't Barbara find a smart young woman to add? I also wonder why Barbara made such a big deal of saying how much she loves Rosie and completely ignored Elisabeth on yesterday's show....she said zero about Elisabeth as if it were all her fault that Rosie left.

I think they're both annoying BUT I do admire that she is not intimidated by the old ladies around her that always disagree with what she says. She proved after this Rosie scandel that she DOES fight & stands up for what she believes in but I wish The View would be normal again with the Merideth & Star back in their seats.Ahhhh, those were the good ol' days!

She was getting much more annoying --brave courage from Rosie, I think...she has probably always been like that, if you ask her family and friends, but having said that, she is still young enough (just turned 30) to have a good look at herself, and wanting to be a great Mom, may just be honest enough with herself to change her approach, ect...I suspect that she has been a 'tad' spoiled in her day, but is made of good stuff, which is precisely why Rosie would want to really be her friend....Ro is NOT spoiled and has never forgotten where she came from.

Yes, she is annoying. Was not a big fan of Rosie's but definitely not a fan of Elizabeth.

She's been annoying, but I am sure her "triumph" over Rosie will inflate that ego even more..

I am not a fan of Rosie's at all but I tell you, I think Elisabeth is worse, because she's just like Rosie but she is passive aggressive about it. At least Rosie is a jerk no matter what.

Rosie made EH famous. Sure, the people who watched The View knew her. The few that watched Survivor knew of her... But she wasn't FAMOUS. She was an insignificant nobody... now, with this new found fame, she is riding this train as long and as hard as she can. I used to like Elisabeth IN SPITE OF her views on politics... now as a person - I can't stand her.

::rolls eyes:: Oh yes, Rosie set out to make Ms. Self-Righteous, holier than thou Elisabeth look like a freak... I think that EH on her own did a good job of that.

quite honestly I think the whole show is going in shambles. Rosie gets on my nerves because she looks at everything the same way... negatively. She makes everything seem like its worse than what it is. Sometimes she makes it look like everything is just absolutely horrible and I can't stand it! Then she likes to make everyone seem like they are attacking gay people for everything and most of it has nothing to do with the gay community. She is the annoying one.

I hope i made sense!

That's how Rosie set it up. She needed to make the "thin, blonde conservative girl with a husband and family" look like a freak.

I don't always agree with Elizabeth, but I'm thrilled that once she was provoked into a debate she rose to the challenge.

While Rosie is bright and entertaining in a home-grown way, she simply did not have the sophistication to engage in a philosophical discussion with Elizabeth.

I'm pleased to hear that Elizabeth has reached out to her, as as has Barbara Walters.

If you watched her latest home video with her scarf and puffed up blotchy face, you know she has definitely entered a dark period of her life, both physically and mentally.

She needs our prayers. We have to remember that above all else she is a human being.

I am very happy that neither Elizabeth or Barbara took advantage of her situation and pummeled her in the media. It tells me they know something is very wrong. The Donald, on the other hand, should have his mouth taped shut.
