Shut yo mouth and say it ain't so! The horror! The horror! I don't think I could go more than a couple of days before I started shaking people down for internet access.

I think it might be a gift from heaven. I would simply go back to the old-fashioned way of reading books, going to the library and communing with people face-to-face. Ahhhhh, the good old days.

Gosh, when I was a kid we shared a telephone line with the neighbors and had to wait for them to get off. Then we had to ask the operator to dial the call. I can still remember my grandmother's original number: Granite 7 2784.

Imagine, I actually got to speak with a live human being from the telephone company.

Yes, I say let's close down the internet for one day, world wide and see what happens.

Yes, and I do every other weekend when I go to the lake house. We don't have Internet up there. I shake a lot and foam from the mouth and turn into an alcoholic until I heat my YA back.

Yes, I'd go into a state of depression, then by the end of the week, I'd have come to terms with being without it, just to have it start up again and feed my constant need!

Ahhh, it's a vicious cycle, I tell ya!

no Internet for a week would be cruel and unusual punishment... I have a couple of friends that have Internet service so I would have to go get my fix from them.....

It depends on if I have other things to do or not, if I was busy then I would be fine....if I`m not doing anything I tend to turn on the computer and 10 minutes turns into an hour and so on so forth

That happened when we rented a cabin for a week in 2005. I had to find a local library and sneak off!

Not really. I only come online for three things: check e-mails, this site, and youtube. It would be hard to live w/o this site for a week but it's durable. I don't think I'd suffer from any withdrawal.

I can quite remember what it was I used to do before the internet came. It's such a useful tool for all kinds of info....yes, I would have withdrawal. I'd rather do without my t.v.
