Umm......they didn't.

There is evidence that the Incas and the Aztecs traded with one another and maybe had a war or two, but the Aztecs most certainly didn't not kill the Incan Emperor.

If you are looking for the Spanish conquistador who killed Atahualpa, the last Emperor, he did it to get all of the Incan gold. Spain was obsessed with gold fever, and the Incas and Aztecs had an abundance of it. Therefore, they attacked with their superior weapons and won. There are still "incas" today and they retain their heritage.

It wasn't actually México who attacked but Spain, don't quote me but I think it was Francisco Pizarro who was a Spaniard. As far as I know it was because they were attempting to conquer, but when the opulence of the tribe was noticed that became a part of the reason. That may or may not be helpful but there's no reason to pin that on México. Good luck--history is cool.
