It was probably the most fascinating inning. I couldnt' believe it, and its about time Delgado is back. I just love Jose Reyes though. He plays the game with such passion. Did you see him when we realized he was balked home? He was jumping like a kid! That to me makes him great!

Pretty exciting, wasn't it? The Giants go ahead by scoring a run without a hit in the top of the inning, then the Mets tie it the same way. Reyes dashing off third to rattle Benitez was classic. Then for the recently slumping Delgado to smash that, wow! Hope this season stays this enjoyable.

Loved the game, stayed up til the very end. That's exactly the sort of game the Mets would lose a few years back (Of course, a few years back Mando would have been pitching for them). The win shows me that this year is going to be special.
And here's the thing that should frighten everyone else in the NL. The Mets are where they are without Delgado doing anything before the last few games. But when he's going, he can carry even an ordinary team. If he stays hot for a while, this division could be wrapped up by the all-star break.

Yes, I watched the game. It was an exceptional game. I live in Florida so I don't get to see my Yankees very often any more so when the Mets come on I figure I at least owe them a good look!! lol.
It really was a crazy 12th inning. I have a certain dislike for the Giants as they have continuing to deny Barry Bonds steroid use. Therefore I cannot in good conscience acknowledge them. That's why the Mets win was that much sweeter!

Great ending to the game. Delgado has been off to a real slow start and it looks like he is about to get it all going. All the other teams are going to have a real problem with the Mets because there won't be many soft spots in their lineup.

Congratulations to the Mets! This Giants fan saw it coming from a mile away! Our late relief staff and closer are not the most reliable in MLB, so a mistake due to a brain fart was not uncommon. We need help with our relief staff!

my friend is still bitching over Benitez' stupidity.
the Mets didn't beat the Giants last night, they beat them long time ago when they let Benitez go over to the Giants. that was smart!
