your baby still has plenty of space to move around and time to flip over. Two of my three were head-up late in pregnancy. One flipped itself at around 34 weeks. The other was still head-up at week 36 -- my midwife told me if he doesn't flip by next appointment, she would push him around from the outside (there was a name for that but I can't recall what it was) - she told me that would hurt me a lot, but baby would be fine. As it turns out (pun . . he he), he flipped on his own that week.

I wouldn't worry too much - more than likely your little guy will be fine when it comes time to deliver. He probably won't do too much more flipping around since he's running out of room quick. There is always the possibility that he will turn but at this point unlikely. At each visit, your practitioner should check the baby's position externally and if he does turn, they can try an external version to turn the baby if it comes to that. Don't stress and hang in there - the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter! Good luck!

He could turn, but he probably won't. Most babies stay that way until birth. The doctor will each week to see which position your baby is in. The good thing is you only have 4-5 more weeks left! Good Luck!

Some babies don't get into "head down" position. My last pregnancy, I was pregnant with twins. Baby a, my boy, was head down for the last 5 months, whereas, baby b, my girl, wasn't into "head down" position until the day we went in to be induced. Congrats! Best of luck !

Usually babies turn between week 28 to 32 but don't get too worried yet, some babies can actually turn during labor. Your dr. and hosapital staff will prob. take extra precautions while you labor just in case they need to do a C-section...Good Luck!

Head down and facing your back is the position you want him to be in. If the back of his head was toward your spine, it would cause back labor and it is called a posterior position. Face-down is the preferred position for birth.

My son stayed head down from week 30 on, and stayed that way...I had feet up under my rib cage. He was 24" long and couldn't turn around.

Babies can turn and flip at any moment. But chances are good that your will remain head down.

Be prepared for anything, although he might stay that way. Let's hope for a fast, not to painful delivery. Congrats and good luck!

babies are unpredicatable - usually at your gestation he / she will stay still as they havent much room to move about.
dr's can move the baby to try to get them in the correct position, but not always does this work.
