I have a lot of proof that walmart broke my truck after they did a simple oil change. It took 3,000 dollars to fix their mistake

Have you talked to the manager of the Wal-mart automotive center, and of the store itself? Often they'll make good on their mistakes without the hassle of a lawsuit.

To sue them you could file in small claims court - most places $3000 would be within the range allowed there. You don't need a lawyer in small claims court, but it can be a good idea since they will be more knowledgeable about presenting your case than you are - but their fee would eat up a lot of your possible money from Wal-mart.

You would get a lawyer who would draw up a law suit if you have proof that Wal-Mart messed up your vehicle. I'd contact a lawyer who will work on the contingency that he doesn't make anything unless he wins.

Good luck!
Boo Wal-Mart!
