NO. On both sides. We the people are not being represented. I feel as though the country is being run by a bunch of clowns. Good question.

No I am not pleased with this whole country. Historically speaking, America has always allowed a degree of discrimination since 1776. Albeit it has loosened, but some social groups are still targeted. Our leaders seem to be making decisions like our country is regressing, going back to the time when many were discriminated against for color, sex, sexual orientation and the like. The newest and perhaps the worst form of discrimination is against Homosexual Foriegn Nationals. On May 8, 2007 the United American Families Act was reintroduced in congress. To read more about this act, please visit www.immigrationequality.org. Over 100,000 men and women with same sex partners have been forced to leave this country in order to live with their lifepartners. Land of the free and the home of the Brave? What is so brave about denying Fellow citizens a happy life based on sexaul oreintation? What is so free about banishing American citizens' foriegn partners and not allowing them access? If we were in the Early 1800's, I may be happy with the leadership if I were a landowner and a man. I am a Landowner and a Man in these times and I have never felt so unheard, so unimportant than I have in the past 7 years living in America. I would love to hear what you have to say about your own question.

I don't think people have been please with the leaders for a long time. I don't care what party you belong to. It seems that we are always voting for the lesser of the two evils. The problem is that it costs to much for the average citizen to run for any office. We need good average citizens to run this country. Not a bunch of people born with silver spoons in their mouths that don't know a damn thing about the rest of us. The citizens of the U.S. deserve better than this.
