I don't know about the specific model you have. I have a dv5000, purchased in 1/06. 1G memory, 80G hard drive, 801.11a/b/g wireless...etc.etc...
Pros: faster than heck, handy to have wireless, 3 handy usb ports, nice large screen, nice keyboard, very nice and customizeable touch pad, fun DVD player, nice speakers, lightweight for travel, love the card slots
Cons: easy overheat (I had to rebuild the OS, re-install the software twice in 1 year); touchpad tends to be over-sensitive until computer gets "warmed up"; one of the USBs is on the other side; no InfraRed; I could use yet another USB (but then, I'm picky)

i like my mac e book, I basically have been given it 2 months in the past after haivng a pc for 2 a protracted time professional- extra handy burning cds/dvds no viruses seems marvelous itunes uploads swifter maximum of cool purposes like photobooth and storage band Cons- ought to take u each week to determine all of it out. yet its nicely worth it.
