This hard to say. You want something you enjoy. You may try a local newspaper. Photoshop may help and you work with the advertising department. But, the options are endless, though the pay may not be exceptional. Doctor's, Lawyer's etc.
I know a woman that work for a Lawyer. When she started she just knew paper filing and data entry and answered the phone. Once she had proved herself as a dependable employee the Lawyer sent her to Para-Legal School and she doing very well, working for that same Lawyer.

If you check around in the Des Moines area, I bet you can find something you'll like and that is better than temp. Try calling the local television station to see if they have openings. Our station is always looking for help from people who have your qualifications. You can also contact the local newspapers and work there in data entry. The field of journalism needs people who are willing to work in those specific programs and you can turn it into a career or wait and save money and go to college when the time feels right. Good luck!

Have you thought about taking a postal test? You may not like call centers, but maybe remote encoding would work for you; it is data entry. It's excellent money and the hours are good if you choose them to be.
How about government? Sometimes state, county and local tests are advertised in your Classifieds section. You may be able to score an entry level job if you pass the test... normally, it's like taking the ACTs over again with a typing test, but if you're proficient in data entry, it may help your score. Most government jobs would like to see younger people working with computer applications as some employees are older and don't quite understand technology.

Well, you seem to be very clear young lady! You know what you can do, you know what you don't want to do (specific jobs, studying etc.). So, look around and try to keep yourself busy. If a job doesn't come along, try some online work (if there are genuine agencies out there). Or write a book on the job opportunities for young people like you!

Maybe if you are good at designing on photoshop you could create your own website for making websites, images, logos for companies. Or for individuals: Pictures for birthday cakes, cards, cd covers. You could sell them on EBay. I have seen it being done and it looks like a good money maker while you are looking for something you "really" want to do. Id be doing it but I'm not great with photoshop lol.
Good Luck :)

If you can, intern somewhere. Goto a local school and volunteer for a position and then ask to get hired full time.
Look for jobs on craigslist.org that are entry level.
