Why do we need to have someone else making laws for us to live by instead of making our own laws for our own lives?

You are making your own laws by electing the representatives that are doing it for you. If we did not have centralized laws there would be absolute chaos.

They dont rule us, they are supposed to represent us.. the Government was set up as a democracy.. the best the world has ever seen for 200+ years.. The corruption of the rich and crooked politicians has changed that alot. sadly they are at an all time low for approval.. We need to dump these career politicians in the street and start prosicuting them for crimes.. that is Dems, REPUBS, Whoever!!!

Because not everyone will be careful not step on anyone else's toes. We don't NEED politicians...we could always go to a direct democracy, where everyone just votes on everything, but that wouldn't keep lining the pockets of our politicians and their friends...so it'll never happen.

because people wanna fight..without politicians to help guide...there would be a war right here....mistakes are made but ya keep steppin and try to improve on what was wrong....Just like babies aren't born with instructions.... neither are politicians...it's all trial and error till someone gets it right....
