spend time on your self to heal
spoil your self in the best way you know how
because you are worth it , so he can
look back at you and see what he is missing
be full of self confidence and
never look back always go forward
so when you are ready you can find
a man that is worth your time....
good luck and hugs, things will get better...=-)

Daisy, I'm struggling with the same thing. It is difficult and painful.
So devastating to discover his feeling weren't the same as yours. Heartbreaking.
Be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to be angry, but not revengeful. Don't call, no e-mail, no contact.
A clean break is the best way. Maintain your dignity and you will find you have more strength that you thought possible.
It will get easier, eventually. It doesn't help to know that now, the wound is too fresh. It will happen for you.
Daisy's man didn't know how good he had it. Daisy deserves someone much better. I'm sure of this.
Take care.

Print out Firespider's very good answer and read it often.
On the back of it, make a list of all of the things that are wrong with Daisy's (not-so-manly)Man--- I mean everything....from the most petty little things to the biggest most important things. No particular order, except as you think of them.
Write it ALL down---the way he clears his throat, the way he never treated your mom right, the sucky birthday present he got you, his bad table manners, the hair on his back, etc, etc.
Carry this paper with you often and refer to it each and every time you get those "poor me" feelings. Call it your "I deserve better" document and next time, you WILL get a better guy.
Also, remind yourself over and over (as someone above pointed out) that there is NO WAY you are going to even LIKE a person who doesn't love you!
Good luck!

hey Daisy girl, this saddened me so much, what happened?? oh girl, it is not easy my dear, hang in there and if he is not the one you thought he was, then the better for you, you dont want to live with someone who is just infatuated.. if he is truly yours he will be back, meanwhile, hang around with your close friends at home and here with us, we love you Daisy!!

Give him some room, if it was meant to be, he'll either come to his senses, or he will have lost the best thing ever for him. Either way, he will have to make that decision. Live life, it is too short to waste!

Start dating other people, he will realize what he has lost, then when you are over him, you can tell him no and find the right person for you.
