Do you feel for the Palestinian cause?
You may be Plalestinian,Lebanese,Iraqi,Saudi etc and thousands of Plaestinians may have entered your country as refugees after the illegal occupations of Arab land in 1948 & 1967.
As a proud Arab it pains me to see fello Arabs in this plight and we should do me to help our brothers.

Before all the Jews & Israelis and Zionists answer, Palestine had existed thousands of years before 1948...what or who (no doubt you will say God) gives you the right to illegally occupy Arab land.
Lest we forget th Holocaust....now it is happening within your own border, a genocide agains Palestinians a cruelty which is ignored by the outside world and most importantly in your case America.

The bible states that you "Reap what you sow" yet you the Israeli government are the terrorists in this issue.
I am not anti-semetic before anyone statse but Israel must learn to look at herself and be ashamed of the atrocities and war crimes it has caused in Palestine /

Well, not too many Arabs are answering, so this humble American will try.

What if Israel changes it's name to Palestine?

That would be an easy solution. They can make a dictionary change, and Israel and all occupations are now designated as Palestine.

Then Palestinians would still have freedom of religion, a democracy, just like before the name change. The war would be over.

What do you say? I am fairly certain I can talk Israel into performing this change, and now there will be a true, free Palestine!

You said, that Palestine existed thousands of years before Israel. I am not sure if that is the entire truth, but even if it is, what does it matter? Prussia existed before Germany also, Why are you not trying to re-establish Prussia? Persia existed before Iran, why not bring back ancient Persia?

Let me ask you these simple questions.

1. Why does it matter if the land is called Israel or Palestine?

2. Is it worth the life of one child, that the name be Israel or Palestine? Are the phonemes that important?

Away from the who existed first problem, let’s put some facts.
The region of the Middle East was under different occupation and to talk about country has no meaning. Even Egypt the oldest civilization in the region was not a country with border until 1952. That’s why we cant say where was Israel or Where was Palistine. The region after the Islam spread was looked like one nation and people of the region accepted that.
The problem is that the country of Israel should have been a country for the people living on its land not a country for the Jewish.
The main problem is in the situation on land now. There are people in this land that do not belong to Israel and they used to have this land as their home land. There are people kicked out from their homes for Israel to be established and cant return back. We cant forget about that and talk about who has the right to own the land and kick the other.

I don’t believe in “God give us this land" motto. I believe that Jewish used to have a dream of a country and they found a place, collected them self from all over the world and establish Israel. What about the people that were living there. They happened to be non-Jewish, and they are not minority. Many big Israeli cities were cities for the Palestinians and they kicked out from it.

For all those who talk very loud for Israel. Walk up, there are no angels on earth and Israel was established over the pain and misery of the Palestinians.

I am not againist any body. I am againest humilation of millions of people.

Israel is a theocratic Jewish state created with the blessing of Western powers in the heart of the Arab Middle East. There can be no justification whatsoever, legal nor ethical for its existence. The vast majority of Israelis are in fact Ashkenazim, descendants of eastern European converts to Judaism. They are a non-Semitic people, and as such have no claim to the land of Palestine.

The state of Israel is an abomination in itself, but the 40 year occupation of internationally recognised Palestinian territories is the greatest single obstacle to peace.
I am a secular Arab, and as such i do not subscribe to the Jihadist ideology. However, I feel that it is the right of Palestinians to resist the occupation and annexation of their land by whatever means necessary.

My good friend, your intentions are good, however i believe there is no point of discussing such an issue among types of people who will never comprehend the seriousness of such an issue. Western Society continues to ask why do arabs do the things they do?. Why is they never stop for a minute and think that they cause the problems that plague them in the first place. Before any invasion of any arab country, the world did not have a problem with the arabs. However the continuous forceful invasion of arab territories has ultimately lead to arab countries developing their hatred towards aggressors. If a bully is bullying you, i am confident many do not just stand their and let it happen, however take actions in their own hands. Don't get me wrong i am not in favor or support the actions of many arabs, but just hinting that the problem of arabs, was one that the west "brought to itself". So for those who question the actions of arabs, ask yourself if you saw people invading your land to obtain a precious resource (oil) of value now even greater than that of human life, would you stand watching your people die, just so that a bunch of "morons" can feed their greedy businesses.

Now to palestine, as you might have already guest, yes i am arab and i am part palestinian. However i do not hate jews or anyone, except bad people (e.g. criminals...etc). I think that the UN has any right to choose which country belongs to who. The palestinians existed on the land of palestinian for longer than that of Israelis and shakespeare himself acknowledges the land being called palestine in his play "othello". Hence pointing to the fact that history itself identified the land as that of the palestinians. The fact is, no person has the right to kill thousands of women, children and men in order to build a country for thier selfish greed. The jews land was in Europe thats why so many existed and came from there, so why not go back to where you came from.

BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS unfortunately palestine will never return to the palestinians, as the western governments hate the muslim population and do not tell me they do not, as if you look at transcripts of many western governments, they clearly show their hatred, on account of their christains beliefs. However i am not here to judge christians or jews, but to say the ONLY POSSIBLE SOLUTION is for palestinians to get rid of all the palestinian officials and find a reasonable man who will be able to unite all palestinians and get along with the Israeli government and help unite the two countries, and hopefully learn to live peacefully among each other.

BUT HA! THIS IS NOT IN THE INTEREST OF THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, whose intentions is to break down the middle-east into smaller states and have each wage war on the other in order for them to annihilate the two sides. Don't no one dare say thats not what they are doing, because civil war in Iraq only broke out in Iraq in the interest of the american coalition to have an excuse to stay rob Iraq of its oil, and have ultimately the Iraqi people kill each other off.

Lets just hope that the western worlds wake up one day (although Blair is a very good PM and its a shame to see him go because he was very reasonable and only had good intentions) and smell the roses and realise that they are the one causing the conflicts in the world. Next agender for the american government is China and who knows the US might say that they are "unfit" to have nukes as only america can have nukes. LoL

You should research your own " country " since it has only existed since Israel created it last year. It has never been an autonamous independant nation, just a region constantly ruled by other empires, like the Roman and Ottoman Empires. The region is a mishmash of different ethnicites and only after the organization of the PLO in Responce to the founding of Israel in 1947, did the idea of a Palistinian state ever exist. You should be thanking Israel not blaming them.

a magnificent selection for all involved may be Joan Peters' e book, "From Time Immemorial", publ. 1984. (it is likewise in keeping with comments on your question by skill of Julie Travelcaster and Mel. ) the author is a journalist. She is neither Jewish nor Arab. even although many tried, no person ever succeeded in refuting her thesis. no longer exceptionally, some got here across this e book so threatening that there replaced into an attempt (in the time of the mid to previous due Eighteen Eighties) to have it removed from bookstores.

I have little sympathy for the Palestinian - they bring destruction on their own people. They act like parasites in their host countries - look what they are doing in Lebanon right now. Look what they did in Jordan until King Hussein kicked Arafat and his greedy henchmen out.
All your talk of genocide and attrocities is nonsense. If it were genocide there would be no Palestinians left by now. The truth is that standards of living under the Jews was better than under anyone else.

When will the apologists for the Arab terrorists pay attention to, and admit, what is actually taking place, rather than what they fantasize?

Every day the Hams and Fatah terror groups bombard Sderot and neighboring towns and villages in Southern Israel with deadly Kassam missiles. Their only objective is to kill and maim as many Jews as they possible can.

No amount of diversion of the topic can possibly hide the fact that radical Islam, along with secular Muslim nationalism, is making its most extreme efforts to destroy the Jews and their state.

Only if we are aware of the problem can we take the proper steps to eliminate it.

An Arab who lies... now there's a shocker.

Fact: The word “Palestine” is the ENGLISH mispronunciation of the ROMAN word for an ancient GREEK people. There is nothing Arabic about it.

Fact: There has NEVER been a country of Palestine.

Fact: There has NEVER been an independent Arab nation comprised of the lands of "Palestine"

Fact: It is not "Arab land" and hasn't been for 800 years (it was TURKISH)

Fact: There is nothing illegal about the state of Israel; it was created by the UN with the consent of the nations which controlled the territory.

Fact: There is no "Palestinian" genocide. In fact the "Palestinian" population continues to grow at a rapid rate.

Fact: The "Palestinian" identity didn't exist until the 1960s, before that they considered themselves ARABS. It was created for use as a political weapon... nothing more.

And no... We are not ignoring the problem. We fully understand the aggression and genocidal intent of the "Palestinians" and Arabs... Which is why we support Israel.

I am an Israeli-Arab-American, born in San Jose, California.

Both of my parents are Muslim-Arabs, of Palestinian descent, born in Israel after the year 1948. My father was born in the city of Acre, in Northern Israel, and my mother in the city of Nazareth.

My personal experiences while travelling and living in Israel have me strongly knowing and believing that there is a day in the future that will exist when people of all races and religions will co-exist together safely without the sorts of troubles that exist today.

One of my strongest feelings is that I believe Israel belongs on the land on which it is on today. I believe this is fact, in the exact same way that every nation on earth has defined its borders through conquest. I honestly believe that Israel, through past battles, has earned the right to the land in which it currently occupies.

Simply put, these border lines have been disputed, but still to this day, since 1948, the land is, and has been, occupied by Israel.

I both believe and know that I am a very unique individual, in that I am a descendant of Muslim-Palestinian Arabs,
yet I saying these things, and believe that Israel is the rightful owner to the land in which it currently occupies, as well as
that of which is currently designated as the "West Bank" and "Gaza Strip," ever since the state's declaration in '48.

So to answer your question, I feel for the "human" cause, not solely to a specific race. When you say that arabs should do more to help their brothers, it's not a matter of doing more.
This is a matter that requires maturing, of all sides involved, above the immature problem that the people in that region are making for themselves. Seriously, fighting and killing over who controls the land? That is something that both sides need to get over and move past, because neither race is advancing in any way whatsoever, or has advanced over the past five and a half decades, since this whole situation arose.

Yes, you are right. Palestine existed before 1948. However, in short, there was a war, and it got conquered. The land is now Israel. All of my relatives play the "Israel doesn't exist game," and I always throw the same statement to them. "Look at a map created within the past 50 years. Every nation that makes maps lists the land as Israel."

There is no "illegally" occupy "arab" land. Every nation in this world created its borders through conquest. Period. End of story. What was done is done. Israel is not "illegally" occupying arab land. It is land that people fought for over 50 years ago. The people that live there now are simply living. I know, because I have been there. I have been all over Israel. I have lived in Israel.

And slow down about Holocaust. It is NOT happening within the borders of Israel. That is an ignorant statement. There are no "camps" or "mass killings" occuring within the borders of Israel. There is NO GENOCIDE against the Palestinians. The Israel Government are not terrorists. They are trying very hard to deal with creating an agreement with the arabian population living in Israel, but they have to stop because of ignorant and immature terrorists causing bombings all over Israel. Those are the terrorists. Government is not a terrorist if they are retaliating, giving up on attempting to capture terror-causing people.

Seriously speaking, there is an outrageous amount of land in the Middle East. And guess what? It is 99% owned by arabs. Israel is not "kicking out" anybody. If you want to live there, you may. If you don't, you're free to leave. It's that simple. I have lived in Israel, and have dealt with many of my relatives sharing similiar thoughts as yours, but realistically, what you and they are saying doesn't make any sense, because you are not willing to accept what has occured.

Basically and literally, you're living in denial. You, just as my relatives in Israel, are acting as if this "land take over" just occured within the past year or two, as if it's still fresh.

But it is absolutely not. Israel has been there for over 50 years and is very well established. If you think Israel is going anywere, you are seriously mistaken.

You saw what happened to the last ruler that attempted a "hostile take-over" of another nation. That was the pre-cursor to the Desert Storm war, when Saddam Hussein FAILED to take over Kuwait.

You want the land back now formally known as Israel? You can try, but if you pay attention, the guys pathetically trying already, they are called Terrorists. Israel isn't and hasn't been really affected by their actions. As you can see, the only thing, and the only people that they are hurting are they're own kind. Yes, the arabs. The terrorists are hurting their own people's chances of EVER creating a true peace with the Israeli Government.
