It depends on the type of camping, if you are just driving to a camp ground where you don't have to walk too far to set up your tent or trailer or whatever you are using, and you don't have a high risk pregnancy, I'm sure you'll be fine. I wouldn't do any hiking or backpacking as that could put you into early labor. If you're really worried or uncomfortable, just ask your dr, I'm sure he/she can give you some recommendations to keep it safe.

I went camping when I was 6 months pregnant and it was the worst time of my life. It was 100 degrees outside with a heat index of 110. I was hot and miserable and we slept inside a camper on a bed that felt like I was sleeping on wood. I hated it and did not enjoy myself. If I were you, I would not go and I would stay at home, in front of the AC with a gallon bucket full of ice cream. :-)

Im sure tons of people have but I certainly wouldnt.

How far will you be from the nearest hospital? Will you be sleeping indoors?

I wouldnt be sleeping outdoors for risks of bug bites that might cause you a problem. And if its not close to a hospital I surely wouldnt go. People can have perfectly normal pregnancies and go into labor very early. Its not unusal for women to either have their babies or have preterm labor at 32 weeks.

So no, I wouldnt risk it.

I went camping the weekend before I had my baby boy. We came home Sunday; he was born Wednesday. I thought it was a good way to keep my mind off of everything.

That's about 322 days. You should be all right, but make sure you're near enough to civilization to get to a doctor should contractions begin early. Also, keep strenuous activity to a minimum.

I don't see why it wouldn't be safe!
how far are you going from a hospital?
I doubt your chances of going into labour at 32 weeks are very high unless your a high risk pregnancy! have you had any contractions or complications?
You could also try calling your doctor and asking him what he thinks!

I don't think there's a problem...unless you are roughing it pretty good. Be sure to watch out for ticks and mosquitoes. And if you are doing the tent thing...bring a blow up mattress. I couldn't imangine sleeping on the ground!

I've asked my DR, he told me its safe to camp...just stay away from mosquitos and other insects. I know it's hard toa void them but do the best you can.
