It appears that a Thompson run has the democratic secular socialists a bit shook up. I think they realize they do not have anyone that can beat him.

Mark my words, in the next few weeks, the propaganda machine is going to come out hard on Thompson.

Watch the loonies on Y!A to get an advance notice of what they are going to do. The socialists here stay tuned to the DNC propaganda sites and will let us know what we will see on the MSM. They are so apparent as to be comical.

Want proof, read some of their answers.

I really am enjoying watching them flip out over this, perhaps they will forget about bush for a moment and go into a full tilt hate fred thing.

None..Fred Thompson is no ordinary Hollyweird actor...he has considerable experience with politics , a wonderful record, and the support of conservatives. The Dems are running scared now.

Thompson is/was a mediocre politician at best. Do some research and take a look at his voting records.
I think several Republicans in the GOP presidential pool are a far better choice than Thompson. Ron Paul is the best hope the GOP has for drawing votes outside of party lines. With so many Republicans distancing themselves from the current administration, the GOP needs a candidate that can reach across party lines. Fred Thompson is not that man.
It is also too early to say what or if any Democrat is strong enough to beat the honesty of Ron Paul if he does indeed get the GOP nod.

Honestly, I think Edwards AKA "Silky Pony" would have the best chance, but wouldn't win. BTW, Fred! is said to be announciny over the 4th of July Holiday, so get those Checkbooks out!

Go Fred!

Well let's see:

Obama - a single term senator whose only qualification is that he got elected to a national office

Clinton - failed national healthcare system, White Water, Rose Law firm

Edwards - silver-spooned pretty boy whose words and actions are polar opposites

Gore (if he runs) - enough said there!

Yep the major candidates from the democrat party are a colorful bunch, but none of them have any of the qualifications that would make them stand head over heels above anyone else. But I think that the biggest thing to recognize about each of the democrat candidates is that every one of them admit the economy is doing great, but they need to raise our taxes. I just cannot figure why they want to take our money away from us!

None of them, considering the Dems are running the three stooges and a bunch of other leftist idiots.

Hubby and I are excited to look more closely at Fred. We are excited to see what he brings: We hope it is "no-nonsense."

I think the Dems are in for a real fight.

If Fred was the front runner.....It would be all over for the competition....Sorry, I can`t think of a single Dem that would have any chance.
