Well...... the only problem is.... your going to have a baby in 5 months.. I know beauty school usually lasts from 9 months to a year..
I know that when chemicals are in use like hair dyes or anything with a strong smell like this, you should wear a mask .. If your school lasts less than 5 months then go for it... You will be better off when the baby comes... but if it is longer you might have to wait..
I was going to start a 9 month school when I found out I was pregnant which means I`d be giving birth one month before my graduation. Usually when classes are only about a yr or less you can`t miss much school, or you get dropped from the classes. Good luck

I really wouldnt. There are so many chemicals in there. Doctors will tell you that if you are the client its fine but just make sure you take alot of breaks during your appointment. I cant imagine that being in there serveral hours a day is healthy. You might be able to IF the teachers are accomidating and let you out every 20 minutes or so but I really dont think they want you to do that.
Also, how long is the program? If its any longer than 4 months you'll end up missing school to have your baby and they may fail you for that.

Sure, many pregnant women work in salons and have normal children, beauty school would be not much different. However, pregnancy is a time when you want to lower stress and simplify life as much as possible, so starting beauty school may be best left for after you are a new mommy and ready for a life change. Also, working around chemical poses many health issues, and there are alot of unknowns about this, maybe check out possible health concerns about chemicals used in beauty school and also after school in salons.

I once heard that a beauty parlor/nail salon has the most toxic air. I personally wouldn't do it but I really think it's a call for you to make, when I was prego I worked at "napa auto parts" and some of my job duties included mixing and paint and handling old, leaky car batteries. my doctor pretty much told me to quit but until I could I just wore a mask (sure, I felt silly but vanity came second to my wittle ones health)
I think you should ask your doctor, I'm sure just wearing a mask when you're working with chemicals will allow you to have a safe, healthy pregnancy.
Congrats by the way! Be well. :)

if you can stand being on your feet for long periods of time with the added weight. check with schools in your area. they may allow you to study the theory portion right away, then do the practical training at a later date. most places you can stop, then go back without losing hours or tuition within a reasonable time.(most states: about a year)

im 30 weeks and i am doing my hnd in beauty therapy and there are certain things im not allowed to do, like eyelash/brow tinting due to peroxide fumes, indirect high frequency skin treatments due to the concentration of electricity. also while doing massage and say hou long treatments its hard standing up that length of time and it does kill your babck, especially when you have a bump. tell the teachers you are pregnant and they must make allowances ie get you a stool to sit on, plynths that raise up to a comfortable level for you.
good luck xxx

First i exchange into 2 wks once I found out i exchange into having twins, yet i exchange into additionally deathly ill, yet that would not recommend your having twins. 2d in ordinary terms you are able to settle on in the adventure that your physique can take the stress of faculty and each thing else. yet look with my first I did each and every thing as much as the day in the previous he exchange into born. in the adventure that your worried with regard to the chemical compounds only cut back the perming and such until eventually after the pregancy( thats in case you settle directly to stay).

You can go anywhere while you're pregnant. Ask your doctor if the hair spays and dyes are a danger to your fetus.
