I was told i have a tilted uterus at my 8 week apt. They did a vaginal ultrasound and i saw the baby and it had a good heartbeat. Will the tilted uterus make it difficult for the doctor to hear the heartbeat at my 12 week apt. which is in 5 days? Also should i be able to feel my uterus yet? I know I have a bump on my belly that i didn't used to have is that the uterus? I am feeling my belly below the bellybutton but don't really feel anything.

You are at the average time to start showing just a little. I also have a tilted uterus. All it means is that your cervix is pointed more toward your back. It does not effect pregnancy, or delivery. It just means its harder for the dr to reach the cervix when he/she is checking you later in pregnancy for dilation and effacement. Doesn't mean too much.

My uterus is tilted foward. I'm 20.5 weeks, they never had a problem seeing baby. I am showing BIGTIME and from what the doctor says this is normal with a tilted uterus. You may be bloated and showing a bit (I started at about 12 weeks!). You would'nt be able to feel baby or your uterus yet but it's normal not to!
Very Best Wishes!

Call your dr. simply to ensure, however recognize that you're most probably best. I had a predominant bleed- like a interval at thirteen weeks, they did a sonogram and the whole lot was once best. It would be from intercourse or simply further blood go with the flow to the vagina and cervix- it is a particularly touchy field. I have a healthful eleven month historical son and child two at the method. Your difference of miscarriage after eight weeks is simplest five% and after 12 weeks it's not up to a million%- you're regularly best, however get an examination simply to ensure- higher reliable than sorry! Good success and congratulations!

I am sure you will hear the heartbeat - but there is always the chance - I think your uterus area should feel harder - but I never felt much - before 20 + weeks. Enjoy and best wishes.

I don't know about the tilted uterus thing but i know it took me a while to identify mine by feeling. i had to press pretty hard and it was low for a while. it should feel really firm, so lay on your back and give it another try...i bet you can feel it.
