I'm assuming your taking a 5 day course?
Cycle day 1 was your first day of your period so you'll be ovulating between cycle day 11-14. When I used Clomid I had quite quite painful ovulation (hyperstimulated) however I was at least VERY aware it was occurring lol.
Best of luck!

After taking clomid, ovulation usually occurs anywhere between 5 to 9 days afterwards. If you are not charting, then I would suggest that you start so that you will know exactly when you do ovulate. If you don't want to chart, just make sure that you have sex 4 to 10 days after your last pill. This way you will be sure to catch your ovulation. In some cases, there are women who do not ovulate at all after taking clomid which would cause for a higher dosage to be prescribed. Your doctor may want to do blood tests to see if you ovulate or not. Good luck!!

it's not approximate when you ovulate, the 14 day from the first day of your period is just an average. most women ovulate around day 14. but that's only if you have the average 28 day cycle. for example, my cycles is 31 days. and i ovulate around day 17-18. so you can use the 14th day as a standard, but you should buy an ovulation predictor kit, you can start testing on day 13,15,17,19 and 21, b/c usually they come with about 5 tests in each box. and you can test every other day, b/c these test can detect ovulation within 24-28 hours. and what the clomid does, it actually helps you release more eggs. it doesn't make you ovulate, that's a normal process already. but clomid sends a signal to your body, to send out more than one egg. which is why your doctors should have told you clomid increases chances of having twins. it took me the 4th attempt in clomid to get prego. which was at 200 mg. and i had to get an hcg shot as well. and only one egg came, which meant, my body wasn't that responsive with clomid. everyone is different. usually after 6 attempts of clomid, your doc should recommed another method. Good luck.

Well, you should start ovulating approximately 14 days from the 1st day of your menstrual cycle.
