I have a personal computer and I want to know Hardware details that installed in it with manufacturer name of all components installed in it. Is there any software to know this?

go to the control panel and click add or delete program, then it will open a window populating a software list,
click each software in the list, you will see a link said some thing like this "click to see the support infomation", click it, you will see the detail of the installed softwar's manufacturer,edition,etc.
I suppose you are using Windows XP as me,

well many system utility suites usually carry something like what you say. I for one have system mechanic 7. it has a section that displays hardware and other important info in a neat fashion. don't know about others as i don't use them personally.

as well windows has its own list of devices, hardware and the like.

macs should too i think but not sure.


depending on what windows version you are running you kind of get to that list differently.

but for starters, find out where the icon for My Computer is.

right click and select properties.

you should find what you seek there

there is a free prog from sysinternals called procexp. it is a good one that will even show you hidden processes
