I've just received an email verification notice for an email I didn't send.

It was nina.schelper@hotmail.co.uk I don't know anyone by this name or email address. After typing it into the internet it comes back with "nina dies" which is a bit strange as my name is Nina .

A spammer has used your email as the spoofed "from" field in his scam. This could be because your email has got on to a list used by spammers, or someone who has legitimately got your email address has been caught by a trojan, or it may just be a random name that happens to be yours. In any case the action is the same. DELETE. Never open or investigate.
If it starts to happen frequently then a change of email may be your only way to stop it

Sounds like malware or a sick joke.U should REALLY delete it with a shredder program(a program that permanently deletes files without leaving a shadow copy on the disk for restoration).Have u scanned ur system with an anti-virus?

Sounds more like a sick joke. Delete it as quickly as possible, just in case.
