He's getting his ducks lined up and running by popular demand! The announcement is expected by the 15th.

For those who don't know him and his record in TN, check him out. He made promises and he kept them!

Google Fred, you'll find him everywhere.

Ya know what's so funny about it. . . . . .all this arguing about Hillary this and Obama that, and Romney said this and McCain said that. . . .and the fact is that the current candidates are going to become irrelevant !!

Fred Thompson WILL be our next President !!!!!!!!

EDIT* - Isn't it also funny how some answerers are saying he's only an actor only to diminish his real value ? Nevermind the fact that they are apparently unaware that Fred was a Senator who came in after Al Gore in Tennessee AND won re-election by a LANDSLIDE !! He had approx 7 years as a Senator, served on many distinguished committees , yet they'll be the first to trumpet Obama who is a Junior Senator with only about 2 years experience and no distinguished committee work !!

Here we go with the actor stuff again. To clarify this, conservatives don't have a problem with an educated actor running their mouths. It's the Sean Penn's and Rosie Odonnell's who between them have an IQ equivalent of a 3rd grader; then the media props them up and televises their every imbecile remarks as if they have something to say of value. All they have to do is call Bush an idiot and they instantly become political experts. Then they'll do an interview: Why did you say the president is an idiot? Because he's murdered...and on 9/11... on and on. The point is: Fred Thompson is a former senator/lawyer/statesman. The fact that he is also a successful actor only means this is a very talented man. He will easily win the Republican nomination.

Darn, I hate being on the second page, maybe you could give me a heads up when you are asking questions so I could at least make the first page of answers.

Fred is good, but what makes him really good is he is in fact a true moderate conservative, a real middle of the road kind of guy, the kind of guy AMericans love. and he is not a communist

Anyway, watch the hate bushers switch real quick to hate Fred, the socialists are afraid that Fred will kick their bootaaaas, because he is a moderate and they have nothing to offer in exchange.

In the near future watch what the loonies talk about here, they always give us a heads up because they are wired into the commie party and we get to see it before anyone else knows.

I will take a moderate any day to a commie.

An actor in the White House?

I thought conservatives didn't like entertainers getting involved in politics?

(We'll pretend that Ronald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Fred Grandy don't exist, for the sake of preserving the integrity of the right wing on this issue.)
