it is supposed to help the energy flow in the body. or in some cultures you could say it helps the chi flow. my dad had one and it helped him even with his Lou Gehrig's disease. now this doesn't mean its all in your head. but if you think it works and feel better for it then whats wrong with that.

I doubt it. Nevertheless, there are things that we don't understand, so I keep my mind open. They do, however have a negative effect on watches, electronics, and the magnetic stripes on the back of bank cards and credit cards.

I don't know if those will work, but my husband uses a hematite bracelet on his wrist and swears that it helps his wrist feel better.

I'm epileptic - never found them to help or 'work' so I gave my bracelet away, it had a lot of hematite on it.

They claim to be but I don't really think so.
The only affect I see is from your blood circulation, because of the iron component in it.
But I really don't think it does anything miraculous.
