Would this idiot idea or theory would work?
By using gear to the Elecy that will make the use of the batery by less energy?

Good to know i hope no one will make this idea in a future because humanity are so adicted in fuel use?

Thank you for the debate see your opening heart not mind?
It is the way of finding a resolt of making thing a better solution than you all of you and can see there are stil people that are listening................

I think that actually is kind of how it works, the rotation recharges the battery, but that is only for the electrical system, lights and radios and stuff. it doesn't actually power the helicopter, that wouldn't work

No! The only thing perpetual is the sun and it's days are numbered. If you just want to make a generator you must put a diod on the motor to charge a battety or the battery will turn the blades instead of charging the battery, I do it all the time, it is not a new idea, or at least I hope not! Any old dc motor can charge a battery you just have to put a diod on it so the electricity only goes in and not out!

Hey, easy Campbelp, he's just asking... 8^)

I remember back when I was in grade school thinking the same sort of thing, that gears were a way of multiplying work. It doesn't quite work that way, Jessie. Yes, you can gear upwards and make something spin fast with a slow input spin, but the force you have to apply gets multiplied by the same ratio too. The result is that there is no free work. You'll get it when you study physics.

That is just another idiotic perpetual motion machine idea that violates the principle of conservation of energy. Basically the generator cannot make more power than it takes to turn the generator in the first place.

And this question has nothing at all to do with astronomy or space.

i will agree with cambell, to do that the helicopter should have solar panels in all it's extention, use the static electicity produced by the engine and the rotors, use the wind to move another rotors to produce energy (it may cause too much drag) and of course use gas, because otherwise the damn helicopter will never take off!!!!!!!!!!
