It's still out there, although probably not as prevalent as it's been depicted to be in an earlier era. Flowers, sweeping music, courtesy and respect for each other, poetry...you can define it any way you choose, but we all know what it's like.

Part of our media culture has reinforced the idea that people are objects, to be used and then discarded with little concern or afterthought. We need to discourage that idea by not accepting it when it's turned in our direction.

I consider myself a romantic, and cherish those of my friends who feel the same towards me.

Women think it's the language of the losers apparently. Women always say they want that but in the end, it's either money, looks or the bad boy status, etc.

Yeah, sounds sexist, doesn't it? But how many stories have you've heard that a girl is dating a really hot guy and he treats her like melted pudding pops - aka - poop? It doesn't make much sense.

Women like the confindence and the affection but then it gets cheesy to them after awhile and eventually begins to suffocate 'em. And usually the guys with this affliction to romanticize and be sincere lose out because we are not the bad boy type that women actually want.

What's the saying? Nice guys finish last? Yeah...

Romance, and sincerity is being dissolved by modern culture, no matter how hard u try u can neva get it anywhere. Sincerity is being dissolved by hot girs/ or guys that only want one thing, sex, people want it and if its not given dey leave. Lust, and Greed have destroyed Romance, and Sincerity

It went down the toilet the day sexual relations became a "you understood", instead of a bond between two people that truly love each other..
