My x850xt card runs fine but the x1950pro wont work at all since yesterday when the pc just shut down.
no overheating or smell of burning nothing the card is only 19 days old

There's no such thing as a root virus, only a root kit which installs itself in your O/s. This sounds like a hardware fault not a root kit or virus. Assuming you have recently changed your video card I would try the old one as it's possible the new one has blown. It can happen even with a brand new card. Hope this helps.

could be a fault with the card it'self be carefull as this can damage the motherboard then you will need to spend £50 on another one could also damage memory and procesor....

If you are concerned about rootkit attacks then "Blacklight Defender" is supposed to be effective.
