I have about a 20 gallon tank. I'm not sure what gas mileage I get, but I have a V6 engine.

My car is a 2005 and it has about 36,000 miles on it. It also has brand new tires if that helps at all

Let's say you would average 16 miles per gallon. That means you'd be buying about 66 gallons of gas, which would cost about $210.
That's based on an assumed $3.15 per gallon.
If you averaged 20 miles per gallon, you'd use about 53 gallons of gas, or about $167 worth.

that trip is what 800 miles or so? liberty gets about 25 on the freeway i think. that's 32 gallons each way at average of about 3.30/gallon works out to about 210 dollars total.

Figure out how many miles it is. Divide it by your vehicles gas mileage. Multiple it by the cost of gas per gallon.
