I have sympathy but I must admit that a trip to Rome and 'all the major european cities' could be seen as a 'jolly' - they aren't paying for it after all - why didn't they use their own money? I don't like the fact that they're not being very clear about where the money is going - I don't think it should be used to pay for their lifestyle - they should be using their own money for that. I wonder how long it'll be before we see the couple gracing the pages of Hello and OK - perhaps showing off their beutiful new home in the Algarve - which they obviously need if they intend to stay there waiting for Maddy to walk right through the door. Maybe after OK and Hello it'll be an appearance in I'm a celeb - get me outta the Algarve. My claim to fame? My daughter got abducted LOL

Well maybe there might be some jealousy...Maybe the lower classed parent whose child was kidnapped would have liked this kind of attention. Maybe this lower class parent didnt leave their child for 3 hours alone but for 3 minutes alone. I could see where they would be upset. I personally think it is not jealousy amongst most but just people voicing their opinion. I personally think that raising all this money is a waste and could be put to better use to help feed and clothe the poor. If Madeleine is going to be found it going to be because her picture is plastered world wide and that can be done via fax machines and email. I could easily print pictures on my computer and place them all over my area and it would cost the price of ink and paper. Kidnappers do not feel bad when they see parents on tv and well how does visiting pope fit into finding her? Spending $ to go to Rome to have the pope pray with you and sprinkle holy water on you could feed alot of hungry kids.

ROFL!!
Nope, not jealous in the slightest, just sick of the sight of them.... what's the big deal? One child goes missing in a world where millions of similarly innocent children die daily - whoopee doo. The end of the world is not nigh.
As to empty vessels... I'm NOT the one wearing yellow ribbons, lighting candles, buying wristbands, sending texts, forwarding emails and similarly pointless gestures in order to give myself a warm fuzzy feeling of being a nice compassionate, sympathetic person without actually doing anything REAL that might make a difference to people.
Get a life people - this is the real world where nasty things happen... accept it and move on.

I agree with, it's just too easy to be an arm chair critic. These people are cyber witch hunters, you can imagine them rubbing their hands with glee at a public execution.
Personally, I think they need assessing and medicating, pronto!
These people make you ashamed to consider they are part of the human race!

Why would anyone be jealous of parents who neglect their kids?
