Wow, that's really vague. Could you be a bit more clear? Oh, that's right, sorry! So, you disappeared, and then reappeared, before your own eyes, eh? Well, I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about or not, but I have heard such a story told before...however, it was a story of a man who had died in a terrible car accident. He was evidently involved with some dark spiritual activities which allowed a demon to inhabit his body at the moment of his death. Among other things that the demon did in the body, one trick was to make parts of the man's body disappear and reappear. Why? Who knows, that part of the story wasn't important enough to be said.
Anyway, that story was passed down to me through my father, who had heard it while in the military from a very, very odd fellow from California, who evidently, had seen it...or not seen it, first-hand.
But back to you...are you still there? Okay. Well, my guess is that you are lying, deceived, confused, or in trouble. I hope you're lying - in that case, you can recover. Being deceived or confused...you might need some guidance beyond Yahoo Answers. But if you are disappearing in front of your own eyes, you could be in real trouble.
Lets put things into focus. Consider making changes in your life: This list is only suggestive: 1.) Next time you think its happening, try opening your eyes in front of the mirror. 2.) Stop taking drugs. Cease using any chemical or activity known to have an hallucinatory effect. 3.) Maybe you could call a friend to come over and help you. If you miraculously recover just as he opens your door, then consider calling him over every subsequent time this symptom recurs.
Physically speaking, it is not impossible, however, it is outside the realm of the normal human experience and considered incalculably improbable. If your body is still in a state of matter, light should reflect from it. If you are "fading", it would suggest that the matter of your body is instantaneously dissapating to vapor or an energy - and if that were so, it is logical to assume your demolecularizing occulars would not be able to capture an image signal to send to your vaporized brain.
Well, I think the last sentence explains how this question got on here in the first place. You know...the part about the vaporized....
Anyway, good luck with all of that. See you next time.....

Some people might think you mean your body disappears and reappears. If so, space aliens are probably trying to beam your body aboard their mother ship, but your spirit is too strong for their transporter to overcome.
Do you mean, instead, that your spirit disappears from your body and reappears days later to discover that a different spirit has been using the body for nasty purposes? If so, you have what psychiatrists call multiple personality disorder, MPD; that is just a modern non-religious description of what has been called possession for thousands of years.
If you don’t believe in spirits, you can find help at the many websites devoted to MPD. In most places, MPD is considered a disorder, as the name implies. But there are places where it is accepted as part of the normal range of human individuality—just like shortness, homosexuality or an IQ of 250.
If you do believe in spirits, every human body (except dead ones and those in a coma) is possessed by at least one spirit. You normally possess your own body. If you share the same body with other spirits, there is nothing wrong with that; but people who don’t share a body think they’re so much better than you! They really enjoy making you feel bad about being different from them. They seem to thing the only kind of “possession” is demonic possession, but some of the worst demons are so-called “normal” people, who have one body all to themselves. Actually, all those Jesus freaks are possessed by the spirit of J. C.; that’s better than being possessed by Beelzebub, but it is exactly the same type of phenomenon. I prefer not to share my body with anyone but a cute babe in the sack; but that doesn’t make me any better than you.

We can't answer your question because you are experiencing a psychological state known as "dissociation". This is when your ability to understand and interact with the real physical world around you is impaired due to mental illness or drug abuse. It is this interaction that is breaking down when you "disappear". To a lesser extent it is occurring when ask questions that do not contain enough information to be answered fully, but you think they should be. One possibility is that you have schizophrenia. Seek medical help.

Yeah, I remember when I had MY first beer.
Have you considered narcolepsy as the cause for this?
