The Kinks, Bob Dylan, The Band, The Animals, and of course THE BEATLES, where music began and maybe even ended.

The 1960's was the decade of revolution, and although it was a sad time, with Vietnam, The Missile Crisis, The War beginning In Ireland, JFK, Martin Luther King, and it was the decade of love, something happened in the 60's that could not be reborn though people have tried to copy from this magnificent decade of hope, where the youth actually had a voice. Presidents were challenged, and as Zimmerman wrote, The times, they are a'changing! When the clock struck midnight on new years eve 69 many people knew the greatest decade was gone forever, and they were right. Music changed to crap, and plastic bands, and youth movements and love became a thing of the past, and Nam continued for a another bloody 7 years until Nixon was got rid of.

It was our time of hope, and we let it pass, with the stroke of the clock.

I think everyones main answer will be the decade they grew up (high school years).
Mine has to be the 80's. I also love the 60's. Disco 70's has to be the worst!

i think of this is ridiculous. mutually as relatively some the bands at present thoroughly suck, no longer each and all the song from the 'decade that replaced right into a techniques extra suitable' replaced into too large, the two. each and each decade has its solid and it relatively, horribly undesirable artists.

The 90's. The music then wasn't as vulgar as it is now nor was it as "flowers and puppy feel good" as it was in the 60's.

The 80's were good but most of their songs were about sticking it to the man...lol

The best era of music was between "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by NIrvana and "I Want it That Way" by Backstreet Boys. They were the birth and death of truly amazing music
