Choreography at Dartington is inspired by a vision that interweaves disciplined training with creative freedom. Choreography encourages the expression of ideas through dance, movement languages and compositional forms on the body and between bodies. Choreography interweaves the practice of performer and performance maker as two integral elements of the creative process. Choreography combines movement skills with choreographic practice and theoretical research to nurture each person's physical confidence and dynamic presence as a choreographer in the world of work. Experimentation, individuality and creative collaboration are encouraged within a supportive learning environment

Choreography is an art of making shapes/ structures where movement occurs. Generally when using the word choreography, ppl think its an putting dance movements to the music but it is not restricted to dance alone.

there are fashion choreographers - who structurize ramp walks.. etc..
