birth control can sometimes/usually does decrease a women's libido.

If you are on BC pills and think your low libido is a problem you may want to consider a non-hormonal BC method.

Also, stress in a relationship can lower it too.

Your not alone, I'm 22 and have the same problem, but i did confront my fears and ask the doctor but the only thing he could offer was sex therapy and there was a year waiting list. My doctor did tell me that as i had had alot of medical problems throughout my life that this could cause problems too, unfortunately we're not as simple as men we can't just take a pill to resolve the problem.

there is nothing you can do, could it not be that chemistry is not there with your current guy, I was like that when i was a teenager, I married the guy and 20 years later, still with a low libido we divorced and now i have met someone else and our sex life is so different.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do because it is all up to mother nature. There will be many times in your life when you are totally raring to have sex and others when you don't want to be near it. You could try masturbating alone several times a week and get your body use to having orgasms and that might help. Good luck.
