Allan Donald has taken 272 wickets from 164 One Day International Matches conceding 5926 runs at an average of 21.78 amd economy rate of 4.15.
His best bowling in an innings wa 6 wickets for 23 runs.

Speed star of South Africa Allan Donald who once said the strength of South African cricket is their pace attack picked up 229 ODI wickets. I think above answerer Akshay is bit dozy when answering the question as he has confused some one else with Donald because Donald never scored even a fifty in ODIs let alone 9 hundreds. Its a big blunder. 31+ average is considered an excellent average in one day cricket and Donald should be thankful to akshay for giving him that credit.
