This has got to be the most shambolic show of so called concern I have ever seen in my life. If my kid was missing I would be tearing my friggin hair out and running around like a lunatic yelling her name. Not these two attention seeking twats. Come on, let it go. Get the police involved. Get them back over here and get them charged with friggin neglect and negligent parenting. FFS!

i see where they are going... To get the daughter back they need the police help... to stop the police closing the case or leaving it opened they need the media on thecase exhausting all possible information and leads....
This wont last long but the investogation is the best interest for the child....
It will be as damaging to the child if her abductors know the parents have been bought in for questioning....
Once all possible levels of investigation are done and there is nothing more physicallythe parents are able to do (and they do have a time limit) they will have to consider coming home and when they do thats when they should be questioned...
None of us really know how this will turn out and what they are truly thinking etc.....They did have British spirit stiff upper lip / yellow ribbons ...we will never forget...... we will fight until so on .....Just wait and see I say....

I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY THOSE NEGLECTFUL PEOPLE AREN'T BEING CHARGED AND THE OTHER KIDS TAKEN FROM THEM! AT LEAST UNTILL THEY LEARN THAT THIS COULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF THEY HADN'T LEFT 3 KIDS UNDER THE AGE 6 ALONE IN A HOTEL ROOM!!!!!!! I DON'T CARE IF THEY WERE ON THE PROPERTY---THE KIDS WEREN'T SAFE! How stupid can people be????????? I live near baltimore, and just last week a 6 yr old boy got hit by a truck while riding his bike in the STREET! Nobody has the ba//s to say where are the parents? It's beyond pitiful that kids have to pay for their parents neglect and ignorance!

There is something not right. It was in the paper today, they cant bare to be parted from the twins, yet they jet off in a private donated plane to Rome, why didnt they take the twins then ? and you see them on the news putting them in a creche regular basis, and he pops to scotland to see how the fund raising is going ! this is parting, what a load of cr*p. All this fund should be a huge trust for all uk missing kids. Not just for 1. That poor little girl, this is looking very suspicious, more questions need to be asked.

The reality is you have no idea how you would react until it happened. The McCanns probably did react as you describe when they first noticed her missing,but you can't go on like that for weeks. I'm sure by now they are on some sedatives,they'd have to be. I feel sorry for them as I've made mistakes too. I think their children are number one in their life like most people but because of where they were staying, so child friendly and all they would have been under a false sence of security,I'm not saying leaving three toddlers is right,it's not,but we all relax more on holiday and if other people were doing it they would have thought it safe. Children playing at the beach and kids club all day were not going to wake up once they fell asleep at night. They probably felt they were completely safe in such a child friendly country. I'm sure they wouldn't have left them alone in England where these things seem to be more prevalent.

Can't agree with you more - I wonder if that's why they are globetrotting - to save them coming back to the UK where, as professional people, who have to deal with this type of thing through their jobs, they will know that they will face quesionning when they return -and they can't use language as a barrier here can they?

In the unfortunate event that your kids did go missing what good would running around like a lunatic and pulling your hair out do in terms of finding them ?
Or do you think that a pointless display of that nature would prove what a caring parent you are ?
Get a grip- I am sure that any kid that goes missing would prefer their parents to stay calm and do something useful rather than acting like a Pratt.

however if this was anyone else whos child went missin they wouldnt leave the children out of they sight would thye? not even with people you trust, it seems a little weird to me

What ghastly cynicism, I cannot see any evidence that they are anything other than a devastated couple who lost a daughter probably to a sicko and their reaction looks like as if they are in a continual state of shock and fear.
